Wallyman's mobile frame shoppe... (lots of pics)
Well, less than a week from getting punted off track at VIR, I'm glad to say that I've fixed my bumper beam! The SMC tub that was all mushed in just popped back into place. All i have left to do is epoxy the outside of it for strength, and make some brackets out of aluminum for the body panels.
I want to give a BIG thanks to David Farmer for taking the time to respond to probably 10 or so PM's.
The torch.
My advanced fire fighting apparatus. Only the water was used.
The damage.
The anchor (lincoln navigator) and the 20 dollar harbor freight come-along
Tow strap to spread the force. (all the water on the floor is from where i lit the tub on fire, yelled OH ****, and doused it with bottled water. then i took a swig for good measure.)
SUCCESS!!!!
No more rubbing!!!!!!!
After this experience, I'll definitely be taking my MAPP torch and come along to the track.

Isn't it nice having a racecar. Just pull, prod and push until it's fixed and back on the road again.
