Default Who will be at RD ATL 16-18 Mar?

It is getting close and I will need to get a car ready for next weekend at Road Atlanta. Who all is going to be there and will we have a Vette Corral set up?

Hi Jeff,
I will be there and hope to meet you.
I have an 06 Coup, black on black

It will be wearing # 69 for this event.
32 was taken My usual and favorite number

A buddy of mine directed me to this thread, I think you met him at Sebring.
Sam has a Silver Z06

Hope there is a Vette gathering and that I can squeeze in.

See you then
Bill

I'll be there. And Jeff, I'm bringing your stuff with me.

I've got to save a couple of place for friends of mine who are coming down later (one has a BMW and the other has a Super Performance Cobra) so I won't be able to get in the corral.

I'll be there. Getting in Friday afternoon. Vette coral sounds like a good idea and since the mayor has bowed out can you set it up Jeff?

I still don't know yet. I'll likely be there, at least to watch the races, but not sure if the car will be ready. My sister-in-law lives nearby, so we've already planned on visiting (in anticipation of racing).

Thanks for the link! Is it open to come check out as a spectator? Would love to learn more and see how it works, espcially since RA is so close to my house.

Yea, the black one. That thing is fast enough to make your nose bleed. I went out with him at VIR back in December because he wanted me to help him in a couple of turns, but is was so noisey we couldn't hear each other. That thing just keeps on pulling when he's in the throttle. He should be in HPDE4, but he won't make that step.

Jody and Khoi - thanks for delivering my stuff

Bill I will look for the black 69 - I will be there in the car/truck with GS stripes on the fender.

Thanks to the school attendance ****'s we will not leave until Jake can check out of school on Friday so not sure how early we can be there to stake a claim..I sure would like to have power hookup this weekend. If it was like last year it was a zoo getting in and getting set up...

No doubt about that...I have never seen so many people attend an amateur event at road atlanta. I got there early sat am and had to park way out in a field about 10 minutes walk away from the pit in.

Unfortunately, this year I am out of town, so won't have the pleasure of beating team england

It is pretty bad when you leave the country so you won't get pummeled at your home track

It looks like my biggest competition will be Robroot then...

Actually, there should be a ton of entries in TTA - hopefully no Vipers though

So far over 33 entries in Time TRial classes with a number of vettes mixed in.

For those wanting to see a tuner come out and battle the imports Reese *** will be running in TTU in (I think) a new Z06 well moded.
I believe he has run 1:28's there before in that car so should be fun to watch.

I will be there in my blue '02. I've never run a NASA event, so I didn't go time trials as I wanted to see how it all worked. So I'll be in the HPDE 3 group (car #11). I just saw the schedule and noticed that there are only 3 runs per day - man that is a lot of sitting around. I was out there at the Panoz event on the 3rd/4th, and I just hope there is more rubber on the track now. The combination of a cool, windy day and a freshly repaved track with no rubber on it meant very limited traction and tires that just would not warm up. Looking forward to meeting some more folks!!

We were at Road Atlanta this past weekend with Peachtree BMW (3 days)... and the new asphalt has good traction. There are slight "ripples" in some locations which may unsettle the car. It depends on your "line" and speed.
