A lot of folks use 2" painters tape behind the wheels (on the body and gravel guards) and on other body/paint areas wanted to be protected.

Code Black was tired of 12 seconds of fun 4 or 5 times a day and leaving rears on the pavment. He is from the other side and has seen the light and will be converted to join us in HPDE's.

You will enjoy taking your car on the road course. Be open to listening to your instructor and you will have a lot of fun.
These pictures, from late '03 or early '04, are why my permanent nickname is now "Duct Tape Guy":

I was in teh same boat, but still dabble with the 1320 but less and less....of course the drag strip is open and the road courses aren't yet...but since entering teh world of HPDE........well all I can say is I was warned before I started but its quite addicting...Most people think I'm nuts when I mention I have 4-5 sets of vette rims of my own and 2 in storage for a buddy......On this section of the board......I think there are more that can relate and understand, than those that doubt it.

HEY BRIAN, how are you?? It's me, Anita! I was wondering when we might meet up! I was worried how I might recognize you but it was easy! I even remembered your car1 NO NO not the taped up ones! LOL

Well, you don't want to remove it when it's hot and sticky (don't ask me how I know), but this is racer's tape specially formulated for easy removal, so if you let the car cool in the shade, it comes off quite easily without any residue. I'd just get a bra instead.

Yeah, I know! This is only the second board I've been on. Felt like I was probably boring every one to tears over there talking about my Vette, so I came over here to torture these folks!
