what next - cup holders? Chris L. from Pratt & Miller snapped this shot for us of the new gold-foiled air conditioning system installed in the C6.R racers. With cockpit temperatures reaching as high as 165F - even 185 (Texas, 2000) - this should make it a little easier for the team to concentrate on the issues at hand during a race. The vettes have had partial AC systems for a while, but as Godug tells us: "this one's a beast".
More 2007 "improvements" to come...

ALMS requires all closed cars to run AC.
