Drm Ducts On C6
Hey folks,
Has any one installed the DRM Brake ducts on a C6? It seems that unlike the C5 there is no need to cut the front part of teh wheel well (to push the duct through) as there is a nice round duct port at the front of the C6 wheel well which brings air from teh front bumper.
Sooo, is it too simple to suggest that I just shorten my new DRM ducts to fit over the C6 port from the front bumper? Am I missing anything?
I will be running these to LG Spindle ducts and want to make sure I am not screwing it up..
Please let me know.

Here's the problem with your idea:
In order to install the DRM ducts, you need to cut the end off the OEM duct. It's got a curve at the end and you need to remove that so both ducts will line up, and allow one to be inserted into the other. This changes the position and angle that the duct passes through the wheel well, so you'll need to enlarge the hole anyway.

C6 Z06 ducts are another option, very cheap, here's an install write up I did.

But the DRM ducts are much thicker so if you are a heavy duty track guy you might want to stick with those.
Cutting the front panel on the C6 is really easy with a sharp blade knife.
