Default Cobra Race Seat Blowout Sale

If you are narrow in the Hip, I'll make you the deal of the century on a pair of Cobra Imola S seats (Kevlar) in black. They are really good looking, comfy and super strong & safe. My customer had me special order them and his co-pilot was a bit too broad in the beam. The Cobra distributor said that we could do an exchange and then changed their mind after I got the wider seats for my guy. Now I have these, brand new, still in the box, seats that need a new home. Out fiscal year ends on March 31 and I'd like to get rid of them by then. No reasonable offer refused.

Based on the treatment from the Cobra Distributor, all of our display seats are getting blown out at a loss to get rid of them too. I'm simply not going to do business with people that don't have integrity. We are now a distributor for MOMO, Racetech and can get Sparco too.

We have Cobra Evolution in black, Evolution GT in Black, Imola S in red on display. They are still in nearly new condition.

These are our normal prices and I signed an agreement not to advertise below these prices, but if you contact me at the store, I will wheel and deal.

All of these seats are Kevlar making them super strong and super light. The Cobra seats are comfortable enough for long rides &/or daily use. The Narrow seats are 14" wide (inside dimension) at the back hip of the seat cushion. The GT seats are 16" in the hip.

Imola S (Narrow) - $569.97
Evolution w/head restraints (Narrow) - $999.97
Evolution GT w/head restraints (Wide) - $1049.97

Default Race Tech?

C5stein,
Will the Race Tech 4009W seat fit in a C6? Is there any chance of getting a 4009WT without the head restraint? From posts on this forum, there are a lot of guys, like me, that are a bit wider ("W") and taller ("T")!
Thanks!

I'll talk to Brian at Racetech. So far the only WT I've put in, went into a 911 and they have no transmission tunnel to speak of.

Hi Mark,

What about mounting bracketry? Do these seats mount on sliders or are they stationary? And will my 6pt harness work with these seats?

Thx,
Phil

Yes your 6 point belts will work with these seats, they are designed for that. These are full on Kevlar, FIA certified, Racing seats.

These seats are "Side mount" style, we have both our side plates and base for C5 & C6s and Harddbar mounts that are a bit more universal. For either one, tools are required for fore/aft and height adjustment.

C5stein,
The published base width of the Racetech 4009WT seat is 20.5 inches. I measured my car (C6 Z51 Coupe) between the tunnel and the rockers at 20.5 inches. It is not obvious, after attaching the side-mount seat rails, that the "wide" Racetech seat will fit. But it might! At any rate, my inquiring mind would like to know ... I'm getting desparate for a HPDE seat!
Thanks!

I was with Brian from Racetech today at the track and he said that their wide seat has been successfully installed in both C5s and C6s. I ordered one and we will try installing in in either Dave or Terry's C6Z to confirm and will report back here.

Racetech also has some very nice Driving shoes, Gloves, and some bitchin 6 point cam lock harnesses which we are bringing in as soon as all of these Cobra seats are gone

That's great news! Please keep me posted about the fit of the 4009W seat in a C6. Is there any chance of getting a 4009WT (wide & tall) seat (without the head restraint)?

I spoke with Brian at Racetech,
He said that the 4009w and 4009WT will fit in a C5 and C6. While I haven't installed them in a C5 or 6, based on the measurements they will fit.

The I have a 4009W without head restraints in stock.

Let me know if you are ready to go.

Call me at the store.

Hi Chad, one of my guys turned 21 last night as a result, he went to Vegas as a spur of the moment deal, so it was a bit hectic at the shop being one guy short. I left you a voice mail tonight that the Hardbar mounts will work nicely with the Racetech 4009 and 4009W.

For the rest of you that have questions, the most common is about shipping, seats are bulky items roughly 36 x 24 x 24. While they don't weigh much the cost anywhere from $45 to $110 to ship depending on how far and if it is delivered to a business or a residence. Businesses get a pretty good break. One of you pointed out a shipping option of going terminal to terminal being much less money than residential. On these seats we simply pass on the shipping cost so if you come up with a really cost effective shipping plan and that shipper will pick up at our location, just let me know and we will accomodate you.
