Default Sparco Evo seat weight questions

I have the Sparco Evo seats in my Vette....

I think I made a mistake by leaving in the passenger side slider, as it pretty much is unnecessary. How much weight would I save by removing it.

Also-----can I position the driver side so that I could remove the slider if I wanted to......is it possible to get an acceptable positon without the driver side slider ?

Again passenger side slider weight ?

PS----anybody know how much weight saved....same seat, but with carbon shell ?

Thanks
David Lehman

<5lbs for both sides. The more important thing is the extra inch or so of room that they are taking up.

Do you mean 5 lbs each side---as in driver side weighs 5lbs, and passenger side weighs 5lbs.......................for just 10 lbs I don't know if I will change......
