Default Memphis SCCA T1 In-Car Video

Below is a link to youtube.com.

It is a playlist of my March 11th SCCA T1 race at Memphis. While I don't drive a Corvette anymore, this video DOES show a C5 for the entire time. It features Jerry Onks in my old car as I try to chase him down. I understand Jerry needs some cheering up after a tough weekend at Road Atlanta, so maybe watching this will do the job.

For me? The wise old philosopher William Joel once wrote "your mistakes are the only things you can truly call you own." Well, that surely applies to this race.

Enjoy (and Jerry, nice job):

David,
Nice video! That last turn coming onto the straight is pretty harry with that wall REAL close. Kinda reminds me of IRP. (ORP NOW)

Thanks for sharing, David. That was one helluva abrupt chicane they had there about a minute into the video.

What class were those 'Vettes, the blue one with the big wing and the black one with what appeared to be a small trunk lid spoiler?

David , Looks like the Viper is in need of some gearbox repair.....how frustrating.......

Jerry's my good buddy though , and he certainley deserves some success.......last weekend at Road Atlanta he didn't fair so well....Actually sounds like it went really bad....

I need to get my car done, so I can have some fun too . 3 weeks to go.

Jody,

Those "loud" ones are GT1 Corvettes. The #22 has an LS7 427 in it, which it shouldn't rule-wise but I don't think anyone was checking.

Danny,

Yes, I needed a clutch. I had everything replaced but the kitchen sink this week. Not taking any chances. See you April 20th...both of you, right?

Yea, I'll be there. I'm getting there Friday afternoon.

This GT1 had an LS7 with a carb (no FI).
