I run 275/35/18 RA1s on 18x10.5 wheels on the front on a road course and the tires rub my DRM air ducts enough that I need to put layers of duct tape on them as a sacraficial "wear bar". Don't know if you have ducts. I couldn't run 305s without spacers.

Many state they run them but I just don't see how if they have ducts. I think they might rub the frame on mine even w/o ducts.....

Trimming is not an option. They rub parallel to the frame in the "flat" spots of the ducts. Do you have the aftermarket DRM ducts or the OEM ducts?

I run 18x305/30s up front on a 18x12" rim. and I have DRM air ducts. Do they rub? a little, but I dont turn lock to lock either.

If you have the stock oem Z06 ducts. They end at the front of the quarter panel and don't get in the way. The DRM ducts extend them and big tire setups rub on them at full lock.

I've run the F1 SC rears on the front and they just hit at full lock. I just tested some Hoosier 315/30-18 on 18x11 CCWs and they rub a bit at full lock also.

As for AX. Actually you need to worry more about full lock turns than track drivers. A lot of AX courses setup on runways have a turnaround cone. You'll be at or darned close to full lock.
