Default Info on tuning tire pressures...

...specifically for the new BFG G-Force R1 but it is good info and should be applicable to any race tire.

I didn't realize BFG was making Race tires again. I though Michelins' leaving F1 marked the end of the Michelin/BFG Racing.

Seriously, they stopped making R tires in 2000, then did the Trans-Am tires a few years, but I thought they'd abandoned us.

Just received my new Tirerack magazine in the mail yesterday and was also surprised to find out that BFG has the R-1. Unfortunately, the tirerack website does not have any info on them yet. Nice looking tire!

A few sizes posted on Tire Rack, supposedly available Monday
4/3.
For a 285/35-18 $6 less than Hoosier. .4" taller diameter.
No listed tread width. Tire weight about the same.

Unfortunately, they chose some stupid sizes for them.
