Kumho 710s rock-guess I'm the last person to find out...
I had previously been running the Hoosier Viper Racing League slicks on my C6 (scuffs). I got some 710 scuffs from Aaron (I think that's his name) and I found

at VIR today. Color me satisfied...

I believe it, and I haven't used them either. However, seeing the times the T1 guys run at some of the tracks, they must be awesome. I've been locked in series' with spec tires, or used scuffs (like yourself), and while they do better than street tires, I think the current generation of Kumho and Hoosier R's are leaps ahead.

I switched to the V710's last year... after Sebring.
I wasn't able to get any Hoosier/Rolex scuffed tires from my supplier.
I was AMAZED at the way the Kuhmo's stick.
IMO...The Kuhmo's are MUCH better than Goodyear CSGS, Hoo Hoo's DOT "R" or the Rolex cup tires. I haven't tried this year's Hoosiers though.
Oh... and Kuhmo recomends ~ neg. 1.5 degrees camber/shoulders are rounded. Much friendlier for a dual use street/track alignment.

Matt,
I like them! Gonna be on them from here on out and have learned alot about them from Chris Ingle, if you need anything just let me know! BTW, hows the C6 doing? Planning on coming out to Summit for the NEDiv season opener on April 14-15? If you do, swing by!!

They have been the quickest of anything I have run also - but I will probably give the new R6s a shot. I wish I could pick up 4 secs anywhere! Good job
Trumper - I ran NItto NT01s at Sebring last December also

This year is the first year I won't be on freakin vacation for the April race so I'm gonna try my best to make it out. If I do I'll definitely stop by.

Just posted a set for sale (cheap) on the "for sale" sticky thread:
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1342974&page=6
Last year's (used once) - $400 for 4. 17's. I don't want to use last year's tires for High speed, but would not hesitate to use them for AX.
