Default Did I sell a junk tire? Please look....

W/ the rocks from VIR I failed to notice some chording on teh inside of one of the front tires... can it me mounted so that he can get some use out of it? Or is it junk?

When I shipped it it was covered in gravel from VIR pits... it's very hard to get off.

Junk... Not safe or smart to use that tire.

These are Hoosier R3S04. The rears are ok.
Would it be a bad idea to get the new R6 for the fronts if I have to do that?
Thanks for any advice.

Hey, it looks like it is just "heat cycled" in real good. I have a bunch of those for sale, too.

I hear where you are coming from on the junk on the tire. Between the rubber and other crap that gets picked up on the last lap, I really have to look hard at my tires for cuts, wear, flat spots, etc.

Sometimes the rubber build up gets so thick I cannot even see the tire surface.

I have a bunch I'd love to get rid of just so that I don't have to pay the disposal and environmental impact fees on them.

if you get new r6's, make sure you do not go with a square setup...the car will oversteer alot with the used rears

I might see if Bob Chick has some used scrubs in the 275/40/17 size. Would that be ok? Would those work alright?

Another revenue source: used brake pads. I have a great collection of those, a few has some meat left on them.
