Summit Point SCCA National, April 14-15!! Wow, my 2nd year of T-1 racing!!
Wow, all I can say is wow! It is coming up on exactly 1 year of National racing for me and I have to say it has gone by like a shot!! After only 2 regionals last year I made my debut at Summit Point as a rookie in T-1, hell, as a rookie anywhere!! The regionals were my first ever wheel to wheel races!! I was a nervous wreck and learned a rookie lesson about brake management when I cooked them pretty badly, just barely making it to the halfway point so I could stay away from the dreaded DNF. I was doing pretty darn good to, battling in a field that looked like goliaths to me!!
Now here I am, a full rookie season behind me, my first Runoff's in the books, and 2 out of division races for '07 in the books with a 5th and a 3rd place, all with no DNF's since the start. With Summit coming up and what looks to be a healthy field as usual, Rhonda and I are anxious to get the NEDiv season underway! To everyone who we have met this past year, to all that have helped us in our races, and to all the competitors I have taken grids with, we hope to see all of you again for this 2007 year. I hope to have a great run at Summit, my "home" track, as well as searching for that elusive first National win this year.
Take care all!

Hi Joe,
I hope to join you soon, side by side, for that on track BBQ!
Maybe the run-offs?

T1 cars are multiplying like rabbits in the NE. There are 13 cars entered for next weekend's race. Wow! Based on my past bad luck at SP, I hope to get some points.
