Track tire pressure, cold weather
Quick question about tire pressures --
I'm headed up to Lime Rock this weekend for the PDA track event on Saturday. The current weather forecast shows morning lows around 23 degrees, high of 41, probably overcast or cloudy, so the sun won't be warming the track surface up much. I'm leaving the slicks home, this being the first time out for the season, and will be running with my street tires -- Toyo Proxis T1-S's.
Any suggestions of tire pressures in cold weather?? I was thinking of starting with 32 front and 30 rear. Normally with street tires I'd start a little higher, 34 front, 32 rear, but with a cold track I'm obviously concerned about grip. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
