Inexpensive 18's?
Well, it turns out my plan for 18x9.5 and 18x11 Ace Slick AX wheels isn't going to happen. The vendor site I found had the rears listed erroneously as fitting a standard C6. They do not. So that leaves me in search of something affordable. Any suggestions???

I'm doing C5z06 replicas. You can only get a 10.5 rear, which is fine with my (315's, not 335's), and you can get the black motorsport style for under $500 for a full set.

I ran them (C5 rims) on my C6. They may not match the OEM backspacing, but they sure fit fine.
The suspension and frame (other than moving the rear subframe back 1.2") are the same, so I don't see why it would impact the performance much at all.

best I can determin, the C6 rears do have more centerline backspacing, which means they sit further "in". Running a wheel with less centerline backspacing would move the wheel out some, but certainly not enough to hurt anything.
I have a new Z06 coming into my shop tonight, and I want to measure the wheels for future reference. I'm also going to see if C5 Z06 rim will clear the C6 Z06 brakes (another thread).
All I know so far, is that the Z06 C5 style rims, in all sizes, have been thw "wonder wheel" for me in the past. They come in a variety of sizes/colors, fit over most big-brake kits, and are dirt cheap

Okay, it appears that an 11-inch wheel requires 73mm offset to fit properly. I found some cheap 18X10.5 C6 knock-offs with 58mm offset. Are these going to stick way out?
Edit: If I did my math correctly, the 1/2-inch (12.7mm) narrower wheel with 15mm less offset will put the 10.5 wheel within 2mm of where the 11-inch wheel would be, relative to the fender. Or do I have it backwards?
Edit2: Had it backwards. They'll stick out an additional 27mm. Drats.

I just did I super quick, and it should only stick out 11mm beyond the 11's. I came up with 66.7mm for the 11's (from hub to outter edge), vs 75mm for the 10.5's.
11mm= less than 1/3"
I could have mis-calculated...
