Have you wanted to test your car on the twists and turns of a race track. Now is your chance! Experience the exhilaration of driving a car "at speed". Derek Burseth, professional race car driver and coach will bring your behind the wheel driving skills up a level you may only have dreamed about until now. Drivers provide their own vehicles.
This one day course emphasizes driver development for drivers of all levels of experience. The instruction is one-on-one so that it can be customized for you and your car. Derek will discuss vehicle dynamics and precise car control skills. This program is designed to make you the best driver possible by personalized instruction and quality track time.
Elevate your street driving skills using advanced racing techniques to help you understand how your input affects handling. You will negotiate the challenging and technical private track, the Autobahn in Joliet, IL. You will become much more accomplished driver. You don't need prior track driving experience to participate. All high performance drivers are welcome and is ideal for a car club members and street driver. Driver must be at least 16 years of age and must have a valid drivers license. Helmet and gloves are required. Helmets are available for rental or they can be purchased from Burseth Racing at student discount rate. Car must pass technical inspection.
After a brief meeting you will spend the remainder of the day in the car session after session. All high performance track days must be pre-paid in full at time of enrollment. advanced registration is mandatory. You may reschedule a track date subject to a $50 reschedule fee. No refund will is issued for any reason.
Insurance: Drivers have full liability for damage to cars and track.
