Malaysian F1 - Well, This Is Getting Interesting
What a great performance by the second-place finisher in the
Malaysian F1. Especially in the face of pressure from the third place
driver during the final laps.
The move he made approaching T1 at the start was first rate, too.

I agree, Hamilton is the real deal. He reminds me of Senna in his second year in F1 when he was with Lotus. Super good starter, fast qualifier, learns tracks quickly, does not make mistakes(at least not yet.) Can't wait to see him make a run thru the field after a botched pit stop or a blown engine during qualifying. Made Massa look second rate.

Did you hear the remark the announcers made regarding a comparison
of the prospects of Alonso vs the prospects of Hamilton for the duration
of the season?
As champion and seasoned driver, FA cannot be expected to improve
tremendously beyond his present ability. However, everything is new
to LH and as he settles in, learns the tracks and the rest of it, he stands
to improve quite a bit as an F1 driver.
Did Räikkönen speed up that much at the end? Or did Hamilton slow
marginally? I did not have the presence of mind to check, but I imagine
that if there was the prospect of catching up to traffic by maintaining
a faster pace, then slowing a tad would be a wise strategy to play out
the clock with the aim of blocking KR if necessary.

I understand you are saying that the season is young.
Still, Hamilton has demonstrated speed, racecraft, composure under
pressure and an easy going, articulate interview presence.
Seems mature beyond his years. I am reminded of Tiger Woods.
Interesting that Alonso seemed at ease with him. FA struck me as
being distant from past teammates

pressure ...
Even with Ferrari's behind him he didn't make a mistake. He protected his line without sacrificing too much speed. At the end he pushed just enough to be ahead at the end of the race.
This kid is good. This could be an interesting season in F1.

.....I wonder how much fuel he was carrying during qualifying ...in relation to Alonso??
Hamilton was 0.7 sec off Alonso in qual.
Lewis sure brightens up the press conferences. He has alot of charisma.
It's sad to see Kimi struggle with the press.

What about Alonso? I don't think that many people are giving him much credit for his accomplishments. He won back-to-back championships against Schumacher and now he's winning again for another team. Not to mention that his former team is having big problems.

when, after the briefest of his trademark jigs, he appeared to move to
the shadows to let all eyes focus on LH.
Bring on Bahrain ...

Pretty sad when the driver calls the car a "Parachute" and the customer cars are faster
http://www.speedtv.com/articles/formulaone/auto/36553/
Now if and of the CoT drivers called it a Parachute the driver would be fined
“But it acts like a parachute on the straights. Even with us trying to compensate for it, we were still giving up some three miles per hour to the Super Aguris, which have the exact same engine, on the main straight.”

I'm sure that the Japanese laughed good-naturedly about Mr. Barrichello's
remarks and together they have all resolved to work harder towards a solution.

James Stewart (formerly known as James "Bubba" Stewart) (born December 21, 1985) is a professional motocross racer sometimes referred to as the Tiger Woods of supercross. He is known for his tenacity, speed and being the first African American to dominate the sport of motocross. He dropped the nickname "Bubba" when he changed his number from 259 to 7. He felt that he was growing up. "Bubba" was his childhood nickname and he decided it was time for a change.
James Stewart was born in Bartow, Florida. His father, James Sr., was a motocross racer and took his son on rides and to watch him race starting at a very young age. Stewart entered his first race when he was four and garnered his first sponsor at the age of seven.
As a child, James traveled around the country with his family so he could compete in motocross races. The Stewarts lived in a motorhome and Bubba and his younger brother, Malcolm, were home-schooled. As a rookie racer he won nine national titles and became known for his blazing speed and big air; a combination that had never been seen from a rider of his age. James turned pro in 2002, competing in the 125cc class and was named the 2002 Rookie of the Year. He is the first African-American to dominate the sport of motocross and led Teen People to name him one of "20 Teens Who Will Change the World" in its April 2003 issue.
On April 2, 2005, in his third race after moving up to the bigger, faster 250cc class, James became the first African-American to win a 250 cc THQ World Supercross Series race at Texas Stadium, beating such heavyweights as Ricky Carmichael, Chad Reed, and Kevin Windham. James would go on to win 2 more times during his first Supercross (indoor) season, before directing his attention to the 2005 AMA National Motocross Championship (outdoor) season. And just like Carmichael, Stewart would like to attempt driving for NASCAR in the future.[citation needed]
Stewart's sponsors include Kawasaki, Fox, Monster Energy and Oakley, and he also has a role in an MX2002 and MX vs. ATV Unleashed video games for the PlayStation 1, Playstation 2, and Xbox.

Kimi is quick and calm. Calm as in near comatose. I did see him yank his helmet off after an engine failure - once, during a race.
I agree he's the man to beat at the moment.
Is the Honda the pic the ugliest?? What a mess.
We'll see how future moto x stars fair against Ricky Carmichael's legend
