Default Hoosier Sizing

I've secured some 18X10 / 19X11 wheels for AX use on my C6 coupe. I am considering the following A6's:

Front 295/30 ZR18 Rec. wheel width 9.5-11" Diameter: 25.3"

Rear 325/30 ZR19 Rec. wheel width 12-13" Diameter: 26.8"

The front looks like a pretty good fit, though overall diameter is a bit short. Should help turn-in anyway.

Hoosier specs a 12-13 wheel for the 325 rear. While I know a wider wheel would be ideal, I've seen others here use 295's on 9.5-inch wheels with no apparent problem. The second best option for the rear seems to be a 295/30/19, but that tire looks to be .4-inches narrower than the 18-inch front.

I'd be grateful to anyone that can offer any feedback on this combination. The car is already bound for SM2, so there are no class issues involved.

If you have the MN12 with the Z51 package you should have a pretty decent setup, but SM2 is probably the toughest class at Nationals due to the drivers who are in it. McKee, Strelnieks, and possibly Popp. The cars in that class swallow money faster than gasoline...FWIW.

The 295's will be a good fit up front, so will the 325 rears on 11". The 325's are a bit wide for the rim, but will mount ok. The slightly softened response is not as big a factor on the rear.

The car is a Z51. I hear what you're saying about $M2, but I enjoy modding my cars, so this is the best way for me to go. I'm an AX newbie anyway, so Nats is not in my near-future.

Thanks to both of you for your input.
