Taller Drivers: Sparco Harness Bar?
The usual harness bars (Hardbar,B-K, etc.) are straight and would seem to block the seat from: (1) being all-the-way back and (2) also having a "slight" recline. Have any of the taller drivers tried the Sparco harness bar which has a "U" shape that positions the harness well behind the seat? I've seen it advertised for C5s only; I don't know if it will work with the C6.

How tall are you??
the shoulder harness straps should be mounted +/- 5* of shoulder level.
The other option is to lower your drivers seat.
With a race seat and steel side mounting brakets drops the seat too the floor or slightly above it needed.

With the seat all the back, and with a slight recline, a straight bar doesn't look like it will fit behind the seat. I've got a race seat on order that should give more headroom. But I will always need all the available leg room. I just happen to notice the Sparco harness bar with a "U" (a very wide "U") shape for the C5. I'd like to hear from someone who has used it.
A side issue: I have a '07 C6 Z51, the seat belt enters the side panels through a slot. Obviously, those side panels will have to be removed to install a harness bar. I haven't seen this discussed on these forums. Is this a new "feature" for the '07 model?

I'm wondering the same thing. Getting ready to put a custom seat in for a 6'6" guy, and don't thing they straight bar he ordered will clear the seat. With the stock seat all the way back, his knees hit the dash.
