What happened to Fellows? He was parked on the front straight near the end of the race?
Also, crash at the end with 2 Vipers was brutal. I was sitting right in front of where it happened. Hope everyone was ok, the driver of the silver car hopped out quickly. The driver of the black one was really slow moving around.

Thanks. I found it on the World Challenge site as well:
"Fellows’ Cadillac came silently to a halt on the front straight, succumbing to what had been a race-long electrical problem."

One of those Viper drivers posts on this site. "Racetex" is Jeff Robbins, who moved from SCCA T1 to WCGT this year. I understand he had a bad incident at turn one. I heard he is OK (a friend was working the race for Champ Car and witnessed the wreck), but the car is "iffy."

Thanks for the kind words guys and your phone call David. Lost brakes going into turn one. Pretty scary hit thank God for the tires. Data shows I hit the wall going 90 mph. Car is on it's way back to roush for repair. I will be heading to Utah for round three. I had a really good race going. Had a terrible qual. time and started 27th. I made my way up to 18th and then got hit from behind and lost 5 spots. I was sarting to make up some positions when then brakes went. It was a blast running at the Beach, a track that I have been watching on TV for years.

I was watching the race down near T1, but missed the Viper crash as I was looking at the Jumbotron when it happened; glad both drivers are OK.

Enjoy. Looking forward to watching the race back this weekend. Tough to get the whole picture when you're working in one turn!
