I'll be getting this http://www.racerwholesale.com/produc...c023726249f596
What do you recommend 10* or 20*? It's going in a C3

Burning Brakes
The HANS holds the helmet slightly more forward than without. I rotated the seat back in the Z to compensate for it but now the front might be a little too high. I may change the seat bottom padding a little.
Other than this issue the HANS has been very easy to live with. I never notice it when driving and it adds an additional amount of safety. IMHO an easy decision...

20 = more hans room at the back of the neck. = tall people can get more headroom in the car. = short people do not have the knee area raised too gain hans room by tilting a 10* back. 20 is way more comfortable unless you like the 10* full upright close to the steering wheel nascar position. Also, depending on your distance to the shifter a 10* will crowd your shift more.

I am 6-2, I do like to up close and personal with the steering wheel.
I use the 10*, but also recline the back of the seat to about 20*, which allows the front part of the seat bottom to be rotated up. I also put additional padding under the seat cushion to raise my knees up a bit more.
Shifting is not a problem. The only thing I can not do is left foot brake. The steering wheel bottom gets in the way of my knee.
Guess I need a flat bottom steering wheel

This won't be a real race car. My dad's fatass can't fit in a roll cage so we have to stick with a 4 point . We do have a nascar though that will have a 3 thousand dollar seat in it already.
