There's a similar thread over in C4 tech about optimum engine operating temps...this happens all too often on the internet. That's why I tend to look for posts from a few guys/gals whos information I trust and ignore the rest.

I used to try and give back by answering lots of noob questions that I once asked, but then people started attacking my posts so I quit. Yesterday I posted a simple clarification of something someone else had explained. I was subsequently attacked by the original poster because he had already said it, and by another guy trying to find holes in my story so he could prove how much he knew. Very irritating.

Nobody wants to learn, they just want to tell others that they're wrong.
