Matt

I'm on the waitlist for Hyperfest.

I stopped instructing. Being an instuctor in a car out of control at 105MPH and flipping in the woods made me re-evaluate whats important. There are some things as an instructor you can not control. 1. The enviroment, 2. Mechanical failure. I blew my motor up in April of last year. so basically getting ready for the last 8 months for the track. I had Piper Motorsports put a full cage in, Stoptech brakes, fire supression etc.

I take it the wait list is for the race events/instructors? Is there a wait list already for the HPDEs?

Do you have the '03 silver Z06? I was over at Funktion getting my new tires put on and saw a silver Z back there with a full cage, stop techs, fire sup, etc. Is that your car? It was one bad a$$ car! The guy working there showed it too me... said it had a 427... Cartek I presume from the stickers? Sounded awesome!

D@mn!! I really wanted to go to that one. There are not many HPDE events on the main track this year that are on weekends.

I have to say that your car is one of the baddest Z06's I have ever seen! I would love to see that thing run.

I am thinking about it, but it is on a Friday and I will be on vacation and gone from work for 8 days already in July. If I can make it I definately will.

Mike - I saw your Z06 at Piper Motorsports while they were installing Sparco seats in my C5. Looks awesome and I'm very glad to see you're continuing to participate in HPDEs. I'm going to leave my Celica GT home for this event and take out the C5!

Are you coming out to this one Ralph? Hope to see you out there. It's been a while. We missed having you out at the Teen driving school.

Sorry, but I'm gonna miss this one as well....it conflicts with a NASA event at VIR that weekend. I'm sure you guys will have a blast though.
