Default Track wheels for a C4

Is there another wheel that is as light, or close to it, as CCW's for a late C4? I want to replace the ZR1 wheels with something lighter and I'd like to change to 17 X 11 on all four while I'm at it.

Since they would just be track wheels $2,000 for a new set of CCW's is pushing things. Especially since I want to have a spare set in the trailer. The cost of CCW's would be $4,000 then. I know they're good but 4K on wheels is tough to handle right now.

Any suggestions on alternatives or a used source?

I'm running 4 repro 17x11 ZR1's. Cost me $460 total. Yes, they are heavy, but for 1/10 the cost of CCW's, I can deal with the weight.

Yeah, I have several ZR1 wheels already. I just wanted to step up a bit and reduce the unsprung weight but geez the CCW's cost a lot. I was just hoping there might be an alternative.

Joe, you don't need to get any faster!!
If you are not in a hurry you can find used CCW's for around $1000 to $1200 a set here on the forum.
I like 17 x 12's with 8 1/2" of backspace that way you can run them on all 4 corners.
See you in Sanford?

I have to get faster to keep up with you and Harry.

Yep, we'll be at Sanford. See you there.

We might be able to make Convention too. I'm on a project that should have a break in mid June so that would work out well.

I tried that, they don't have any used ones right now.

It's not like I don't have a couple of sets of wheels right now, I figured it would take a while to find some so I might as well start looking now. I really don't want to spend 4 grand for 8 wheels for new ones just have them get beat up.

I'm trying to talk "her" into a Featherlite enclosed trailer at the same time. The available funds are limited and I gotta prioritize.
