Default Custom made 4pt. Roll Bar. Lots of pic.

I just could not find the right pre-fab roll bar. They all seem to have some kind of drawback.

The great folks at Orange County Corvette had the answer. It's a welded in bar. Big brackets that are welded to the frame for the main hoop. The back braces are welded to the frame. You can still see out the rear view mirror. Stock seat belts still work. They did a perfect job and stayed in the shop till midnight to get it done for me.
Thanks again.

Steve

Nice! Can you clik us a fullsize pic of the area right behind your seat by your hip to show how they cut out your plastic panel. This is really hard to do and they did a nice job.

looks nice.
Can you still put your top in the back, or is that blocked?
How much does a setup like this cost?

What seat is that, and did you need to modify anything to get it in?

Hey Steve,

I thought you would like the OCC setup. Looks pretty cool. Did they do the pedestal mounts to the frame so the bar makes contact with the top and side surfaces of the frame?

No top. It's a hardtop. FRC body.

Cost is right around $1800 depending on what you want.

They welded a bracket on the frame then the bar is welded to that. A little different then what you saw with the race car in the shop.
