Looking forward to seeing you and Deb there Rex. I figured you would be in.

Chris I'm signed up in White with a bunch of my buddies. Glad there is at least one Vette to play with. See you there.

I see Ed is bringing out the 997S (that replaced his Z06). Can't wait to see it.

Yep, I'll be there. So far, I've done two days on track with the car at VIR. I've avoided pin-wheeling through T10, so I feel successful! Actually, the transition hasn't been as big a challenge as I feared. Even with street tires, the car has a ton of rear grip, so unless you really over-cook an entry, you can be on-throttle fairly heavy through most turns. Overall, it's not as fast as the ZO6, but it's a lot of fun. I was on the fence between the Porsche and another Vette, and I'm still not sure about it! But, I figure there's no real bad choice there, and they make cars every day. Think we are in the same group; see you at the track.

Well, looks like it will be a great weekend weather-wise. I'm getting new tires mounted now, and the car will be in the air tonight for its final pre-track inspection, brakes, and tape job Looking forward to seeing you guys there on Friday!

Well, I got my tires from RedLS6 - fresh rubber is a beautiful thing! He's stocked up too - this is a sure sign that a vette guy is headed to the track for one or two days:

Rotors, rotors, and more rotors. I haven't even unloaded the truck from the last event.
