Default Dual rate Hyperco coil overs on Penske 8760 3-ways

We (Hardbarusa.com and LEMD.com) are soon offering a dual rate Hypercoil coil over package on Penske 8300 (2 way) and 8760 (3-way) shocks. These are 2.25 inch ID so that clearance to the toe links, and CV joints etc is increased over convential 2.5 inch springs. We make the Delrin spring splices and this package will be available for other brands of shocks that have a 2 inch (actually 2.06) bodies. The dual rate springs are more compliant over the small ripples and get firmer towards the end of the travel. The Penskes are expensive at $825 per shock for the 8300's and $1175 for the 8760's but are superb for track AND street. These are for the C6Z but will be available for C5 and C6 as well. The spring kits are not priced yet, but will be pretty reasonable. Stay tuned!

Looks good.
I am looking for a suspension for track days and road use right now. Car is a 2005 C6, 427 engine, BBK, CCW 11x18/13x18 with Kumho tires, poly bushings, T1 bars.

Some questions:

-How much experience do you have with valving Penske shocks? Are you racing with these shocks?
-How much is the complete shock and spring package with the 8300 shocks including mounts?

Thanks,
Bernd

I have about 5 years, but the Richard at LEMD has been setting up shocks for over 20 years. He used to be the Pro Track (a JRZ and Moton offshoot company) importer and was a shock consultant for a major Nascar team and many BMW and Porsche IMSA teams. The Penske 8300 doubles are $825 each and the 8760 triples are $1175 each. The Hyperco spring pairs with the Delrin coupler/slider are $200 per corner.

Thanks for the kudos! Here are some installed pics, note the toe rod clearance with the 2.25 ID Hyperco springs, the 2.5 ID springs hit or clear by a nanometer. The 2.25 ID springs are the way to go for sure.
The spring kit will be available separately.

Fronts with stud kit in the uppers and PFC caliper.

Thanks, they are in stock for immediate delivery. They are custom made specifically for Hardbar from 17-4 PH 150,000 PSI stainless steel, with extra long threads on both ends. This is really important on the aluminum frame C6Z, the 1.5 diameters of thread into the frame prevents stripping. Install them with Loctite red (not included) with the short end all the way in. The kit is $80 for C5 and C6, and the C6Z is $150 because there are twice as many since the rear uppers are adjustable like the fronts on the C5/C6. The kit includes extra SS washers and nyloc nuts.
