Default BIG man looking for a harness that will fit

Ok, So I managed to snag a great deal today on a Brey Krause Harness Bar in the 4-sale section. So now i need to get some harnesses. As some that have met me in person (varkswo, racerjon1, Zo6kool) know, I am a BIG guy. The OEM drivers side belt barely fits me and I need a extender to fit the passenger side belt. So I don't want to order a set of harnesses and discover they will not fit. So I am hoping some of you can point me to a harness that seems to have extra long belts. Thanks

call the harness manufacturer directly. They would be glad to make you one personally sized. I spoke with the guys at RJS (I think that is the name) and they will make whatever you need.

That is definately something to consider. I still would like to find a fast "on the shelf" solution though.

I am 6'1" 225 lbs and the crow harneses seem to run big. I have about 10 extra inches of excess belt on the shoulders and the extra from the lap belts nearly hangs out the bottom of the door when I am strapped in tight. They might fit you fine.

I wish I was that light...try 6' and 360. Do you think those would fit now that I put a little more perspective on my size?

simpson will cut any length harnesses you want.
mine were too short, they took them back, and sent me longer ones.

I absorbed the return shipping, they made me another set, no charge.

Try M&R in Vineland NJ. Just had a set installed by ECS. They may be able to custom make a set for you. http://www.mrproducts.com/

The problem I have run into is the harnesses are too long if you use the BK harness mounts. I have over a foot of lap belt that has to be stored on each side of the seat and I have a 42 inch waist.

That is for sure. I have the G-force. Hammer you will want the Pull UP lap belts - pull up to tighten.

I'm with you Hammer, I'm 6'4" & 360. I don't think anyone has mentioned TeamTech harnesses. I got mine through Gary @ Hardbar. I spoke to Kurt @ TeamTech directly and he told me all the measurements to take, I did so and he sent me a harness sized just right. The TeamTech harnesses are padded in all the right places and incredibly comfortable as well as a top notch piece. I believe they can be re-webbed as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend calling Hardbar to get started.

If you call RJS, they will make it for you that day or the next, and ship it directly, making it nearly as quick as ordering online. I don't know why that wouldn't qualify as "fast on the shelf".

Anybody have opinions on the SABELT brand of harnesses? I have a guy offering me a good deal and will even take them back if they don't fit.
