I tried the search functionality, but didn't really find the information I was looking for. Basically, what alignment specs would you recommend for my setup? It's not a DD, it's mostly a street car and occassionally will be going road racing/autoX.

Here's my setup:

'97 with Z51 springs (front/rear)
stock wheels (Y2K thin spoke)
Tires: BFG KD's (stock size - except rear 295's) - soon to be replaced with Nitto RII's or Falken Azenis RT-615
lowered about an inch (lowering bolt kit and urethane bushings)
04 Z06 Sach shocks
Hotchkis Swaybar Kit and endlinks (mounted in the middle hole)

I'd like something a little more aggressive than stock specs, but not something that will cause my car to wander and cause excessif tire wear. Thx.

A good compromise alignment setting is:

Front: -1.5 camber; toe out 1/16th total
Rear: -1 camber; toe in 1/16th

Since you lowered it, you've probably screwed up the suspension geometry and it won't handle like it should...unless you had it professionally done - ride height, cornerweighted and sway bars zerod.

That should be your next step. I highly recommend taking it to the Phoenix guys (in PA) and let them set your car up correctly. Trust me, they work miracles on these vettes!!

Regretfully it wasn't installed professionally, swaybars weren't zero'd, no cornerweight balancing, so my suspension geometry is most likely messed up. I just finished reading your comments here: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...50&postcount=4

I'm not familiar with the 'Phoenix guys' (in PA), what's their company name? or website? If it's not too far, perhaps I'll take the time to go there and get it setup properly.

All the settings in the world aren't really going to help you until you get it all done correctly. Once you do though, the car will be ultra fast and very easy to drive fast!! It's really an art and the guys there have been doing it incredibly well for years...lots and lots of T1 National championships!!!!!
