Hey Adam I'll see you next week to pull her out of the museum. It's been an honor to leave her on loan, but you've seen her alot more than I over the past 9 months.
The wife is looking to retire in Fla. the cost of a home in the area will mean liquidating a few assets, a real sweet race car or our dream home and retirement. I wish I could swing both.
I will have at least part of this spring or summer, we have a few events next month including Nelsons Ledges, Beaver Run, and Mid Ohio. I have also very quickly learned this car may be a bit of overkill for a beginner, I would probably recommend 2 good years of seat time before you try to race real race cars like raft or Lou G have, this ain't your mother's Miata.

There are a ton of CF members: myself, mrc24x, Jaymz, L98Terror, and of course the whole contingent of RAFT racers.
Come on down, watch my car catch on fire again...

Still available, I think no one wants it because I got some stone chips at MidOhio
This is a great car if you want to do Vintage racing which is a fairly small market. HSR,SVRA,VARA, VSCCA, etc. It's not for everybody, its wheel to wheel but somewhat gentlemanly. In most series it's more about getting the cars out and driving them than winning. Each series is different, HSR generally is pretty aggressive, more so than SVRA. These series run on all the great tracks and really great events with legendary drivers. At Mid Ohio SVRA end of July, IMSA legends Fast Phil Currin, Dan Furey and Glen Bunch were kickin butt. The car would be in group 10 for SVRA against IMSA and TransAm beasts, retired Nascar road cars etc.
At Mid Ohio the class was dominated by a 77 IMSA Hemi Challenger at 572ci and a Ferrari Spice, these guys are flying running low 1:20's. The people have been really great and its probably a bit of an older crowd, old race cars and old race guys who love them

Really raced, last time 1984 Lumbermans 500 at Mid Ohio running 1:37s.
On the track and her legs stretched, Mid Ohio in July and June 07, next Watkins Glen at the Zippo in Sept. Under 2 minutes at MidOhio with me driving, not a good example.
