Default New to this Forum and Vettes

I got my '01 ZO6 back in November. It is the first vette I have had. I put it on track for the first time in February at CMP with and again in May at Roebling Road. I run in the HPDE 2 group with NASA-SE. I started doing DE with a '01 F150 Lightning, I could not afford to keep brakes on it. I then went to a '03 Must/Cobra vert. I ran that for a couple of seasons with different groups. Because of some in this forum and the fact that I was tired of chasing C5s around the track I thought I would give them a try. I real love the way they handle and run. I hope to learn from this group of people. Since this seems to be the place that those you track a vette hang out at. I will try not to ask stupid question and will try and use the search before asking.

i ope to meet more of your at the tracks in the SE.

Welcome! It's great to see you migrated here.

Are you going to Road Atlanta in August?

I should be there with my 92.
Going to try to hit one or two of the NASA-SE events before then, but not sure.

Welcome Kim. Like David said, several of us were at those same events. I run a green C4 known as Butt Ugly and run in either the #3 group or with the instructors. Stop by and say Hey next time you are at the track.

Looking forward to your contribution, Kim.
Yeah ... you know where I hang out mostly ... but I check this forum almost daily. ... occasionally check the Z06 forum.
Questions are the same ... just different folks asking.

Thanks for the welcome. Jody my back did fine at RR thanks for asking. I do not think that I will do RA in August, I hope to do it next year in March or cooler weather.

No I am no going to do VIR with the NCM this year. I do hope to do an event with them next year.

I watched David, Falcon, and others run at RR, I can only hope to achieve y'all greatness.

I would like to do TT in the next couple of years.

Welcome, to the best forum on the best forum! As compared to your previous rides, there are some Corvette specific things to learn, so don't be afraid of asking anything. There are not very many rude people here, unlike some of the other forums that I surf. Feel free to call and say "Hi" if you need anything.
Cheers,
Gary Hoffman

Welcome Kim,
I also drove my c5 at Roebling in TTA. You made a great choice in your C5Z. I've also had some back problems (2surgeries, doing fine). No problem in the car, though. Enjoy and be safe.
