All right guys and gals - VIR grand - with Mazda Drivers - Who is going. We will have a contingent there from the Northern VA. CC. Would love to have more Vettes come enjoy one of America's truly great track facilities.

3 Black C6 Z06s from Atlanta will be there. My wife and I will be double stinting ours. Another husband/wife team will be driving the other two. Looking forrward running VIR in the Grand configuration. What hotel is everyone staying at?

I'll be there. Looking forward to another great VIR event and testing my new setup on the C5. Janet and I are staying at the Sleep Inn in Danville.

I gave serious thought to attending this one, but I'm at Summit Shenandoah on the 9/10th and Watkins June 28th - July1st... I'll need a week or two inbetween to track prep and let the wallet recover.

I will be there and am looking forward to it. MazdaDrivers run a nice event and this is a great track.
Since I am travelling 8 hours packing for a week which includes trying to fit golf clubs into the car for my wife, any chance I can use a jack \ chocks to change pads (possibly rotors) from some kind soul - fellow Vette owner?
See you all there

You're welcome to use my gear, e.g., jack, chocks, etc. A bunch of us from the Northern VA Corvette Club will be there. When you enter the Paddock, turn left - go to the 2nd to last row on the left side and you should see us parked in that area. Two black C5Z06s, two red C4s, one gray C5, etc. Mike

Mike, Jack and I will be there. I hope I have all my oil leaks taken care of by then. Not fun for folks to follow a blue cloud around the track!!
BTW, were staying at the Sleep Inn also.

How does VIR compare to Road Atlanta? Is it harder or easier on the car? Planning on going to RA in July, but just got this Z,
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=718851
so would like to work out some of the kinks and maybe hook up with some CF members for some tips, tricks, and advice. I have done the HPDE 2x with my TA at RA but would like some more seat time besides every 3 mos.
Thanks for the input.

I'll be there in my car as will my father in his Z16 Z06. Staying at my parents house 45min south in Greensboro.
Can't wait First HPDE since the I finished the cam install, the vented DRM hood, Ultrashield pro road race seat, and 17x11 oem GS wheels w/ 315 V710s all round.
Should be a lot more fun than sliding around in my stock seat... I don't care about the extra power, I did that for fun on the street mostly, but driving the car and staying in place is something I'm eagerly awating.
