Default spring mountain

I'm doing spring mountain next week. Is it long pants, long sleeves like my local east coast clubs, or doesn't matter??

are drinks available on site, or should I be prepared with a cooler??

Any other comments about anything else?

thanks

Larry,
Shorts & T-shirts are fine. We will have cold bottled water available to you in the class room. Also water will be available outside in a cooler. Bring sunscreen and a hat. Get lots of rest prior to your class. Have FUN!!!!

You will have a great time. The coolest place on the track is in the car, they let you run the AC all of the time, windows open or closed. Nice operation and great people. JD

I'll be showing up with my R3 head & neck restraint, proper shoes, and my own helmet.

Will the instructors be intimidated ?

Larry, you will not intimidate the Spring Mountain instructors. I also wear my Piloti's and take my own helmet each time I take the class.

Pretty sure you can't intimidate that group of instructors.
They are all great instructors and man can they drive.
We did hot laps at the end of our 3 day. Kenny driving and me as passenger. Wow, what a driver.
You'll learn a lot and have fun. Everything there is first rate.

I went to SM with 11 others from the forum/East Coast for the three day event. It was great, although lunch is provided/included, cans of soda are extra , it was wierd, but if you drink soda, bring some cash with you. I only mention it because I didn't bother to bring cash to the track but I did the second/third day.

Minor hijack: Does Leadfoot Adventures still have a two day event coming up at SM? Their website seems down...

Spring Mountain has great instructors and they are very good drivers. They will give you a lot of latitude on the track (depending on the course) but you need to make sure that the rest of the class understands that if they drop tires off the track, you will miss out on 45 minutes of track time while the instructors explain to the class what happened.

I to would like to know about leadfoot adventures.

If "Good Dave" and "Bad Dave" are still there, you're not going to intimidate anyone
