Spoiler - "Setup" Driver in Rolex GT Lime Rock Race
"Setup" contestant Drew Staveley made an impressive debut at the Lime Rock Rolex GT race driving the #30 Racers Edge Pontiac GXP.R. He qualified the car P5, and drove up to P1 by the end of his driving stint, racing against Rolex veterans Reese, Collins, Stanton, Henzler and Long. The race commentators described his performance as a "revalation".
As a TV show, "Setup" sucks, but it apparantly lived up to its promise of providing a spingboard for drivers aspiring to turn Pro.

Show may suck but it gave him a chance

concerned.
My vote is that in other respects, Mr. Jeremy was little removed from
Ryan P, the self-important so-and-so whose lack of personal skills,
slip-shod preparation and bad paternal guidence led him to self-destruct
without even making it to the first event.
Every time Jeremy opened his mouth, his real nature spewed forth.
The view from here is that Jeremy's father may have been responsible
for putting a good car on the track. Talented or not, the kid has issues.
If Drew is the last man standing, congratulations to him.

They didn't say he was the winner, the commentators just mentioned the show as they were describing the race. I had to go to the show's website to verify that Drew was one of the contestants.

I wonder how Drew ended up in the car since he didn't win setup? I wonder if Jeremy won the 100K for winning the show and all the top 4 got a test and Drew won the test? All that they promised the drivers on the show for winning was $100K and a test. Not a drive with a pro team.

Drew is a good driver. He is one of the local SCCA Spec Miata racers in So. California. His dad races, too.

Interesting how the car that fell behind started to smoke then
miraculously revived after the gap was closed up by a yellow. It
wasn't seen to smoke again until after the checkered flag fell. I
heard T Kendall's supposition that sliding the rear led to diff seal
troubles but other cars appeared to be trowing the tail out more
than the car in question, yet were not shown to be smoking. How'd
the Koni car recover? Was there a tech inspection afterward?
Two cars lost power and failed to finish. There were radio reports of
high temps. Ron experimented going up to fourth gear on a section
but resorted to third because others were holding third and Ron's
position was being threatened.
As for Drew's ride in the GXP.R. Perhaps Dr. Jekell transformed into
Mr. Hyde at an inopportune moment?
Wait, here is a post from the Producer
I would be cautious about drawing any conclusions from this about Jeremy
or Banner Racing. It doesn't usually happen that somebody walks in,
gets a test ride, and starts the next race -- no matter how well they
did. According to the MAC Tools thread, Drew and Racers Edge had
been working together for a long time before the show even happened,
and it took them until now to get him into the car.
The reality is, that when things line up they line up. Drew is very easy
and a great driver as well. He was in the right place at the right time.
They were working together. When they saw him on the show they
took a shot and it paid off. They are seeing they have a two hitter
here, he is on a hit show and he drives as well.
Jeremy will test later in the month, I will film that test and it will
open the season two.
I was with Drew last night, he was very happy with what the show has
done for him he will do well in this sport. I hope all the drivers are able
to utilize the show to there benefit. All in all, it's great that these guys
get these shots

I was unaware when I first posted, but Lime Rock was not Drew's "debut" in the Rolex GT, he also drove in the previous Laguna Seca Rolex GT race, in which the team finished 5th.
It was also stated during the Lime rock race that the Racers Edge GXP.R is a converted GTO.R, while the Leighton Reese Banner Engineering GXP.R's were built new from the ground up.

Actually when the show was first announced they stated that the winner would get $100K plus the opportunity to drive in the 2008 Rolex daytona 24HR
