Pocono North Lap Times???
Hey everyone, I've run the north course 4 track days last year and once this year. I finally got to make an onboard tape of last Sunday's event in the HPDE 3 class. So I'm wondering what lap times most of you guys who run HPDE's are turning. Thanks.

I ran a high 0.58 in 2005 and won a couple time trials at Pocono, but the course record for CART stands in the mid/low 0.57's.
With the new ride this year, it would be nice to beat this record, but 0.57 is FAST on that course. I am sure John S could chime in, he may have ran that fast.

I saw a fellow forum member run a 0.59 this May in a C5 with modifications to the engine - FAST \ Cam others? on Nitto tires. Not sure what else he has done. He drives damn fast...

That was me who ran the 57.3 a few weeks ago in my Evo.... dont be fooled though, my Evo is far from a street car. I've seen a bunch of T1 cars running high 58's.

high high 56's would have to find records it was a 2-3 years ago. Now with no rugs & passenger seat would help a bit to now. I want a sub 1:30 on the Pocono long course if I get out this year on some decent tires. 1;31 on some junk dried up GY slicks. Just need to bring my "Stupid Helmet" and wear it. Want to do it with this motor before or if I go bigger. Lower you go the harder to shed time on any course. South course is the roughest on a car for abuse.
