Default Looking to buy some used coilovers and big brakes for track use

Anyone getting rid of some LG/DRM/Moton coilovers or Stoptech/AP Racing/Brembo brakes? Looking to upgrade but can't afford new.

eBay motors -> brakes section ->Brembo Corvette. Here's the search for Brembo

http://motors.search.ebay.com/brembo...cloZQQsbrsrtZd.
Search it every day.....they do show up and often the first time they're placed the reserve is too high i.e. bidding doesn't meet the reserve/ seller has unrealistic expectations.

Be patient. You should be able to find a setup for 50 - 60 % retail.

Thanks for the good advice. I did that exact search yesterday to no avail. I will keep checking.

Bill,
I think you are fast enough! You shouldn't try to get any quicker!

I just like the option of taking more aggressive lines like you do. Great video by the way.

I have 4 Brembo "Big Red" calipers with pads that came off my C5 race car.
I'll take $1000 plus shipping. I can send you pix if interested.

look at my setup next time bill, if you don't get the brembos above. I got the ap 6 pots for the front and put the factory fronts on the rear, added rippie's big reservoir/master and my brakes are TIGHT. randy rippie, as always, was a HUGE help in the setup.

Yes but they are new but with used price. We were making AP Racing brake kits and have changed a couple of pieces so everything I have now will not work with the new stuff. We currently only have these kits on our test cars which include a Group III NCCC C5 and a SCCA TCC Prepared C5 Race car. They use the AP Racing 5555 814 and 815 Calipers. I have the rotors and caliper mount bracket and the rotor hats. The rear calipers we use a Stock Front C5 brake Caliper with a two piece 13" rotor. These front brakes are 14". Our C5 stopped from 60-0 in 88ft on street tires and 116ft from 70-0 that was with a set of Hawk HPS pads. If you install a set of PF001 or a Carbotech Race pad or a set of HT-15 with a set R or A compound tires, I hope you have harnesses in your car. Now for the price. I will sell you the kit minus the calipers that I do not have for $600. That is about $800 cheaper then where these parts were going to sell for. If you are interested you can call me.
Thanks

I have a used set of DRM's I'll sell. THey have about 7K miles of track running on them, so I think the Bilsteins should be rebuilt. The rebuild cost direct with Bilstein is reasonable. You can find it someplace on their website. Replaced the whole setup with LGs.

Email me directly at joel@responsivesystems.com if interested.
