Default [ALMS] Whos been to a race this season?

Hey guys, I know I dont post in this section very much, but I do read some of the threads every once in a while. Anyways, I'm going to the ALMS race at Lime Rock this weekend and was wondering who is giving out the nice posters. After missing out on the poster the Corvette team was giving out the first year they came here, I waited on line for 2 hours the second year only to get a slightly larger than postcard sized picture. I was lucky enough to get a nice sized poster from the Flying Lizard team that year though. So I'm just curious, who is giving out the nice sized posters this year? Thanks alot.
oh yeah, who else is going?

Not sure about the poster, but I will be there with 8 others from New Jersey in the Corvette Corral.

2004 LeMans Blue Z06, be sure to say hello.

Usually on race day the ALMS has a drivers autograph session around noonish when they have their lunch break. Get in line early though if you want a vette poster because theres only about 50 mins worth of time and if your not in the cutoff, sorry. Last year I waited there and got a very nice 36X24 '2005 Champions' poster featuring the 2 C6R's at Le Mans. Its sitting over my computer right now!

Oh, I have a question for the corral guys, if you don't have a Vette yourself are you still allowed to walk through and look?

I was at LimeRock last year, real glad I went.

Some people from my Corvette club are going.

There's a big thread over in the Northeast section, information about the Corvette Corral and Parade Lap. Last year 300 Corvette showed up.

Been to Long Beach and Salt lake so far and will be hitting Petit and Laguna to finish up.

Get to the corvette guys for autographs first as the line gets to be long. Hit the others afterwards. And most of the good posters you will not find at the tables. You have to hunt around for.

so i assume the corvette team is giving out postcards again? those autographs arent worth much to me, and they deal with so many people in that hour that they never seem to be talkative. its the smaller team drivers that are more willing to have a conversation. i just want something nice to hang on the wall, like the poster in my avatar which i got in 2001 at the rennsport reunion.

Thanks for the heads up guys! I got some really nice posters. I got the Corvette one, the Highcroft poster (local team, was going there regardless) and one from the Jean Richard P2 team.

Brian, I didnt see your car in the corral. Did you end up not going?

No sorry, I'm out in Pittsburgh.

I was autocrossing at all things a vintage GP.

Great stuff, lot's of 60's TransAm cars, 60's Corvettes, even an orginal '55 Corvette racecar.

Glad you had fun, I knew you would
