I like Carroll Smith's Drive to Win but I'm not sure if that is exactly what you are looking for. It covers a lot more than simple the racing line and on track techniques.

Drive to Win and "Competition Driving" by Alain Prost. The Prost book is out of print but you can get it used online. I told a young guy about Prost's book and he said "who is Alain Prost"? I said he was halfway decent, he only won 51 Grand Prix...

Carol Smith's books, all the Ross Bentley driving books, Skippie's book (Skip Barber), and there are some good articles on the web.

I agree with other posters. Caroll Smith's and Ross Bentley's books are really great. I have learned a lot from reading and re-reading them.

I'll put in a plug for 'Going Faster'. It is the Skip Barber school recap of
input from many drivers and covers the basics all the way into details
that you never get if you just run HPDEs.

Going Faster! by Carl Lopez for Skip Barber Schools is one of the best to read. It is a very easy read and I always recommend it to my students (autox or track).
