I included a little of the conversation just before I went out, goes to show how close I really was to not taking those laps.

The Story

Enjoy, critics please chime in I'd love to know where I can pick up some time.

I thought the line was excellent. The line is king, so if you have that part right, and you bring your car to the max of traction they you are looking good.

If the line is correct, then I try to reduce the time in "Limbo" which is the time from brakes off, to throttle on. Reducing that is the way to faster lap times.

On your fast lap, you did miss the apex at the end of the long straight but you recovered well and got back on line quickly. I personally take a tighter line into the keyhole but that is just a matter of choice and it requires a tighter "diamond" in the middle of the turn.

But overall, I think you did a great job. That was a great lap.

Congratulations.

Thanks, Lou. I noticed that as well. There's always next year, I think I left a few tenths out there.
