Default Video: High Speed Run on Closed Private Circuit

BMW M6 ECU DELIMITED Top Speed Run On Closed Track

This video has been shown to the moderator and is shown here with moderator permission
location of track has been given to the moderator.

Please note
-Private closed circuit.
-No pedestrians.
-No other traffic.
-Timed run

With that said. Enjoy the video
It features my BMW M6 . We had a lingenfelter Z06 at the track and I'm curious as to how the Z-06 runs from 6th gear and how hard it pulls all the way to the vmax

I actually did turn my friend but at 196mph the steering inputs are only slight...watch it over and you'll see the correction made when we drop from 197 to 180mph !!!

196-198 What ever. Take it to a road course, any one can go fast in a straight line, going fast though corners lap after lap after lap takes skill.

and So what straight line "Closed Private Circuit" was this?

Besides, the mention of a Z06 in thread doesnt really make it as a real addition to the Corvette forum. Bm'rs have their own forum. Check it out.

And this is Corvette related how?
I'm with the yawner. Closed course? I doubt it. Driving 200 on a 4 lane is lame. Maybe next year you'll do NASCAR.... another yawn.

Actually the ad in your post is more exciting.

I guess this is a yawner aswell

Finally found what I was looking for.
Is this video an accurate portrayal of a Z-06's gearing as it seems to show what I have heard that which is

- It Pulls hard up to 4th gear
-It rate of pulling slows in 5th up to 200mph and beyond
-There's obviously no reason to hit 6th

Does this video accurately represent a Z-06's pulling power through the gears.?

Z06 Flat out run 0-200mph

Thanks for the insights

Does someone have a fixation with speedometers?

These are what Corvette is about, not 0-200 mph.

Road America

C6R lap of LeMans

and my fav
Lap of LeMans in the C5R

Wont see an M5 ever do this.
