Any experience with Summit brand AN hose fittings?
Reusable fittings for braided stainless oil line that is.
I'm working on completing a dry sump installation in my '96 and I'm finally to the stage where I need to buy some hoses to finish up fabrication and placement (I'll be totally complete over the winter).
Due to the cost (and the fact that I need 22 fittings) I've been looking both at used stuff as well as Summit's own brand. They're a fair amount cheaper than the big name stuff, but of course I'm a little afraid of "you get what you pay for"
Does anyone have experience with their hose ends good or bad?
Thanks!

it`s 100% aeroquip for me...some of that cheap stuff is more trouble than it`s worth.....you can however buy the good stuff on the cheap from Behling in Milwaukee...PM me if you want a phone number.

Summit fittings
I have used both Summit and Jeg's fittings and have not had any issues to date. Some of these fittings are 4 years old and been on and off numerous times ( i.e. fuel line fittings to carb and oil cooler fittings). I also make sure I use anti sieze during initial connections to prevent galling.

Thanks very much, guys. Sounds like the Summit fittings are good quality. I'll have to check Behling's prices also -- I get my race pads from them, but didn't even think to ask about hose ends.
