Default FOUND! Tapered bearing setup for the C4 rears!

They have standard roller bearings for $69.99 and tappered HP bearings for $139.99 and these will last,These are made in the USA. Here is a email that I received from them the other day when I was inquiring about warrantys.

The warranty is one year. The HP is the same warranty. What the difference is between the two is the HP runs a taper bearing inside and the standard has a flat roller type. The HP typically out lasts the standard 3 to 1. Thanks.

I have two friends with corvettes that run autocross and they say the HP is the best they have used, I bought on there recommendation. WW
Needless to say, I gave them a call right away.

The manufacturer

The Ebay Store

They also sell through retailers.

I just got off the phone with them.
They have a tapered bearing setup for the C4 rears

The front's they're still working on due to the ABS.

They also know about the trouble C5 owners have with thiers cracking.

I told them I've got a solution, and I'm going to talk to their engineer next week.

I'm checking to see if they'll let me use the warranty on the two bad parts I have as a credit toward a set of tapered ones...

Wonder if these, at Summit, are the tappered bearings?

Hmmm...possible, but I looked in the descriptions and it mentions nothing about it. My guess is that they're expensive due to the Summit markup.
