Oct 22nd. They have it listed as the long course, but I confirmed with Joe it is the double infield. The only downside is the price $400 for Pocono is pretty steep.

I think $200 for the east course is a good deal. There are only 3 people signed up at this point and the event is on Tuesday. I would imagine they might get 20 people or so at best. That will make for a GREAT day with wide open run groups. Right now, unfortunately, the weather is not looking good, but it is a week out and that is too far to acurately predict. Since we know the event won't sell out, I will wait until the last minute and make sure the weather is good before I commit.

IMHO any of the short courses are a waste of heat cycles.

why is that you still get to accelerate, brake and turn. East and South are tougher on the car and driver as their is no room for resting.

I personally think the east course is the best and most road course like at Pocono. You are still going 120mph at some places which is fast enough, but the infield is VERY challenging and tight.

I do agree with you on the South and North courses. Once Thunderbolt opens, I will only go to Pocono for the east or double infield at best.

I totally disagree.
The North course ROCKS. It's a killer on the left front tire, but it rocks.
The south course is decent, and I will run it again.

The EAST COURSE S*CKS, and I will NEVER run it again. It is so bumpy, my roof panel virbrated loose, plus a host of other stuff.
My ABS was totally confused with all the bumps. Never again !!

We'll that is the good part about Pocono and a Roval's in general. There are so many configurations, you are bound to find one you like!

We'll, it looks like I am in for the East course on Tuesday and that will be my last day for the year.... :-(

Also, they repaved the east course over the winter, and most of those bumps are gone.
