Default New Pics of the Porsche with new wheels and some polishing!

SO I bought some VE wheels and weighed them...

Rears are about 25# and the fronts are about 22#. The wheels are actually made by TSW. I bought the Lemans Black wheels and although I'm happy with them, a few things deserve note...

I bought them through tires direct and ordered their Lug stubs... Got tuner studs that I'll be sending back. Not too impressed with the studs. I also am not happy with the center caps sent with the wheels.... They're silver, and the wheels are black. My Black and silver motif work with using my Porsche crest centers from the (Much lighter) factory hollow spokes (Which will replace my current track wheels!!!). I'm VERY happy with these wheels at $1320 shipped, including valve stems and lug install kit.

I also did Zaino on the car... I only used the Z2, Z5, Z8, along with washing and claybar, and although I HATE having to go thru all the processes of zaino (Will be using Z-AIO next) , the results are amazing!!!

Pics...

Zaino...As I order Z-AIO, I'm praying that there's got to be a "quicker" way... I love it, when I'm done, but I'm cussing while I'm applying it!

Mike, buy you a porter cable dual action polisher or a rotary, then buy you some optimum polish (use a gray pad or white), if you are using the dual action turn all the way up, if the rotary all the way down. Go over the car once. It will remove pretty much any scratch on the car.

- seal with Zaino (it lasts the longest) by hand
- wax with P21s

It will look even better than it does now (much better)

The corvette clear is about 108092802982598 times harder to deal with than Porsche clear and Optimum will keep the car unbelievable.

Then go spank some butt at the track

I kid, I kid.

Great looking car. Did you put some Z2/5 on the wheels? That will make cleanup alot easier. ZAIO work great for that too.

Zaino ZPC looks great when applied with a PC and white pad.

Here is one I did, I one one step machine polished it with ZPC and followed it with Z5pro and Z8:

The big PITA about adding a carnuba over zaino is you can't layer the zaino over the carnuba. So if you want to add more coats of zaino you must remove the carnuba.

ZAIO- At 3 months on my daily driver and it was still beading well, but it will not last as long as the Z5pro with ZFX. If using ZAIO by hand, work it in a bit with the app. You can use it on glass and your black trim. I do the entire car, then remove. Follow with a quick coat of Z5pro and some Z8 as you have done here.

Remember ZAIO will remove the existing zaino (Z2/5) you have on the car.

I Claybar'ed it, then used Z2/Z5/Z8!

I have a porter cable, just did everything by hand though... Seemed easier!

Heavy, I just ordered some optimum and I've got several white pads for the Porter Cable... I'll see how it comes out with that... Hopefully I'll be able to get the rest of the marks/scratches out of it... Black cars are a bitch to keep clean!

AWESOME!!! Just put the porter cable on 6 and give it lots of pressure and those scratches will come right out, garaunteed (PC will not harm your paint unless you sit on it on one spot for LONG time). If you have some deeper scratches, you may have to use something stronger, but I'd put money on the Optimum taking out 99% of them, you will be rewarded with taking your time, so dont hurry over it.
