Default Figuring out my winter mods....

The short list so far:

1. LGM Wilwood front brakes (waiting to see if we can drum up a GP)
2. Finally get spindle ducts to finish off my DRM ducts properly
3. Fresh Bilstien sports
4. Re-paint the car and clear bra

^^That list is not too bad!

Looks like you decided not to make the Z06 a dedicated track car after-all. Can't say I really blame you. It is still a nice looking car that just needs a little freshening up.

My list is so long I don't know where to begin. So I won't even go there. Going to be a busy winter.

^ Nah... just best of all worlds... if it was track only I'd sell the hood/front bumper and not bother repainting.

Mine:
Pull rollbar
Replace passenger side seat belt I broke installing the roll bar
Pull seats
Fix carpet I fked up installing race seats
Put stock seats in for the off season
Use race seats for Gran Tourismo
Get crack in fender fixed
Have car detailed by someone with patience enough to do black
Install brake ducts
Figure out something to do with my current combo Vararam/Autozone intake
Take off nose and fix radiator support
Tow hooks
Clean radiator while the nose is off

I'm still thinking about switching to a C5Z instead of the vert, but I really do love driving with the top down, even if it's only mostly to and from the track now.

Hey Brian - I'm also thinking about the LGM Wilwood Front Brakes - count me if a GP purchase list is started. Mike

Figuring out my winter mods...

I would say put on some Blizzak LM-25 4X4 Bridgestone Performance Winter tire with studs, some heated mirrors, a ski rack and a block heater.

Probably swap the fluids over to some Amsoil Oil, antifreeze, and a pre-luber http://www.motorsportimage.com/c-205-fluids.aspx

Then you could beat everyone to the ski hill.

Don't forget some seat heaters to warm your old bones at the end of the day.
