Default Steering ratio C5 Coupe vs C5 Z06

Does the C5 Z06 have a faster ratio steering rack than a standard coupe rack? My car is a 99 Coupe and after driving it back to back with an 03 Z06, it feels like the ratio is slower, if so I'd like to update to the Z06 rack. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!

You are probably feeling the slightly more aggressive alignment that the Z06 has.

all c5/c6's have the same steering ratio. They changed the assist/boost effort, and alignment and tires can make it feel different, but everything I've reads says they are the same

Thanks guys! David, the effort change, is that through the rack, or the pump?

I thought that the Z06 had a wider turn radius because the front wheels can't turn as far. This was to avoid the wider front wheels on the C5Z06 from hitting the suspension. I could be wrong though....

thats what the above info confirms. ratio is the same, however they decreased the turns lock to lock to account for the wider wheels.
