Thanks for the kind words. I could not take any pictures of the people in the green group, that's when I was out on the track!
I can see where this could lead to an addiction! Man did I have a good time!

Cool pic's. You even got one of my car. That was a great day for the event. Too bad it rained the last session, but it did make things interesting.

What does your car look like? Are you able to download and get a decent copy? I'm not sure how my webmaster has that setup other than he puts a watermark on them.

Can't say it enough, thanks for the great instruction. Are you going to be doing anymore next year?

Absolutely! Or at least for as long as Roc and Tom will have me. I really enjoy meeting new people, especially the great people I meet at the NCM events.

I had the white 76. The photo downloaded fine, just included the watermark that's all. Your a really good photographer by the way.

Jason:

Were you parked right next to me in the pits? I remember talking to a guy with a white car like that. I think it had different wheels.

If you were in my run group I would not have been able to get any picture of you out on the track, obviously.

Jason:

You're right I didn't have much time to take pictures,I just enjoy taking photos. I've got a 'mentor' in Brazil that helped a lot with the track photos. (I've got some of his work on my website, Fabio) I was at Putnam Park last year when the Porsche Club was there. I 'talked' my way onto the track. I've got a few pictures from that shoot on my website. They didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. After sending them to Fabio he made some suggestions about camera settings. To get really, really good, just like driving, you have to shoot, shoot and shoot some more.

When you track your car do you use street tires? I'll tell you one thing that car seemed to do a great job on the track. I think you told me that you've upgraded the suspension.

Later,
David

I'm running Michilen Pilot Sport's at the track. They were the best street tire I could find that looked good on the car. My only real other option was Goodyear but they were a bit short for my taste.

Yeah, I've modified the suspension quite a bit. Took a lot of information from Greenwood, Guildstrand, and Herb Adams articles on these old cars. I figured why not follow the lead of the pro's . I haven't done everything they recommend, and I've put my own take on a few of the upgrades to keep it more civilized for the street. But in general, I followed alot of their suggestions.
