MCM Spring Mountain - Trackmap & Video
For those of you attending the NCM Spring Mountain track weekend next week, here is a trackmap of the 3.1 mi. config. that they will be using
You can click on the link below for a larger version of the track map image.

I also found the following 2 lap video on youtube. There is a trackmap/position indicator in the lower left so you can correlate the video with the trackmap.

I had planned on attending this event as an instructor and was looking forward to meeting many of you who post here regularly in person; unfortunately illness has caused me to cancel my participation. The weather forecast is great (70 deg. and sunny). I hope you all have a great time, it's a great track and the SM staff are 1st class.

Joe,
Sorry you won't make it. I signed up as an instructor also. Took the level one class 1.5 years ago and drove the short course. Glad to see the video on the longer one. Leaving Wednesday for the trip down
Thanks,
Ed

I have that same video in WMV if anybody wants a copy for their laptop. I found it to be one of the best examples of how to drive the track. Lots of videos of guys going fast, slinging their cars around, but this particular video does a great job of showing the track in a fast yet controlled fashion.
I plan on watching the video (as well as playing some HL2Ep2 and Bioshock) on the flight out Thursday.
***here it is, just in case*** Exactly the same as above, but "downloadable"
