Default Information I could have done without

Bank of America now has an online feature which automatically tracks your expenses in different catagories and then displays them in nice charts and graphs. Looking at my "Automotive" category should come with a Surgeon General warning.

Wells Fargo switched to that system also. Good thing I don't bank there anymore, my wife would flat out kill me.

yea diesel 3.65 so 40 bucks didn't even give me near half a tank. It is getting bad.Gas prices and heating oil prices will really start sucking up peoples money real fast. People start to worry and they stop spending and there we go in to a tailspin recession. Then dump in the mortgage crisis

It really does hurt to add it all up -- registration, gas, consumables, hotel, usually add up to somewhere around $1K a weekend. Multiply that times 10-12 events a year and it gets steep quickly. But what else could you spend your money on and have so much fun. You sure as hell can't take it with you, so you might as well enjoy it.

I like 1 day events at a close track so I can drive there in the morning and avoid the hotel and minimize gas. Consumables aren't too bad on a stock car and especially if you avoid top speeds on the straights--120mph max.

Had 2 C5s that I tracked at Watkins several times...then bought an F body that I thought would be cheaper. Went through a tranny and a motor and every suspension mod possible. Just sold it today at a moderate loss after all the parts I installed. I'm taking up golf next year.

How nice of them.

It doesn't make things very easy if you're trying to hide something from the SWMBO,
