We will have prototypes in Jan for C5/6 front and they will be tapered. Debuting them at Sebring for durablitly runs.

i wanted to be first in line when you were making yours...
went through 2 sets in the c4 this year and ever broke the hub completely off of the left front of the z's bearing.. nothin but the grace of god was holding the wheel on...

Please share the info as soon as possible. Just did all 4 hub assemblies at the end of the season. Had to cut the last event short because the right front was making a lot of noise. Any improvement for safety and longevity will be welcomed !!

the caliper holds the rotor on,
and then the rotor holds the wheel on.
But the brake pedal should theoretically sink to the floor because of all the slop.
All theoretically of course because it never happened to me

Is it going to be different then the current Timken bearing?
Last night I was talking to my Rabestos friend who also has close ties with Timken. He mentioned the GM racing bearing is the stock bearing in the C5 and C6.
Plus a former T1 racer also mention this same thing. The stock Timken Corvette bearing for $178 or $188 is the GM racing bearing.
So Who's on First?

It would be nice to build a hub and the sensor as 2 seperate pieces so that when the hub goes you only are buying that one part.

The stockers aren't tapered, which is part of the problem.
The C5R/C6R using totally different uprights.
Sorry no ETA on the C4's, but they are making them.

WE have done them before but the cost put it out of the ball park for the average guy. We did them for both the C4s and C5s, I think the C4s were like 2500 a corner and the C5s were twice that.
I hope they get something worked out that the average racer can afford! Crap I even had a guy at Pratt and Miller call me and ask how to keep stock bearings from failing, because they prepped some street cars for GM and they were lossing bearings after a couple days at the track.

Hi Brian,
The rear C4's are ready. I should have another shipment in next week.
I saw the thread in the racing section. Thanks

I'm the guy who was going to adapt the NASCAR bearings to C4's, but now there's no need if you going to come out with bearings
Any ETA on the C4 stuff?
BTW I opened a thread in the Racing section
